As an English major.. when your client gifts you a birthday present of getting to shoot in a grand library… you pretty much can’t. That is all. Can’t. (To be clear: as in, contain your excitement.. not turn them down, ha!)
Holly.. glowingly beautiful inside and out and could charm the pants off anyone she meets (these aren’t just words I throw out people.. I’m so so 100% serious when I say these things…) just wow. I am so grateful for our client turned friendship and I’ve been dying to show off these beauties! It was my first time to shoot here, and it was like a kid in a candy store.. the walls, everywhere I turned there was something more and more interesting.. we had the entire building to ourselves for 2 hours and I kicked off my shoes and ran around the whole building “playing” (ha) photographer. I cannot think of a better model to have my first time shooting here be with Holly! It was a dream!
After we explored and photographed through all the awesomeness.. It started to rain when we were going to do the outdoor photos (probably equally bumming us both out).. we watched out the windows as it poured and were starting to lose hope (and lose cell phones.. umm.. haha… I put it somewhere, at some point, and then we had to back track all over the stinkin’ place while we were waiting for it to stop raining.. but, we found it!!) but Holly braved it with her awesome mother’s help carrying trash bags and holding dresses around until we got what we needed. haha! I LOVE YOU BOTH AH! Thank you for allowing me to live the dream. Thank you for treating me more than just your photographer, but building a long-term and fun relationship. That’s what this is all about (this life thing).
