Jeannette + Michael | Round Top, TX Photographer

Ohh my goodness. This sweet sweet elopement is country-chic heaven. I met these two love birds at The Prairie in Round Top, TX two weekends ago on May 18th. I knew they were going to be a pleasure to work with as soon as I met them. It was a beautiful day (and after a day like today with the weather in Houston, it’s hard to think this happened not too long ago!).. not too hot, not too cold… just perfect. They had a cute little cottage that they spent a few days in…and they got married behind the barn, overlooking acres and acres of land and a lake. When they were getting ready in their cottage and I was doing some pre-ceremony shots, soothing and romantic 30s music was playing in the background and felt so fitting in the moment. This venue/Bed & Breakfast is pure vintage heaven! We were joking around saying we should just move out here in the middle of no where and live the sweet simple country life haha. Jeannette made her bouquet and Michael’s boutonniere (I could have never done that) to correspond with her gold and white Ivanka Trump dress with a pair of red high heels and a glitter clutch-purse.

The birds were singing, butterflies were flying, and the plants were bloomed for Jeannette + Michael’s big day. I have always loved weddings… but something about an elopement is even more special… to be able to be such an important part of a couples lives and capturing the full-story of their intimate day. It was just them, myself, my second shooter/husband and their officiant. They were TOO funny… and beautiful, inside and out. They have been dating for 8 years, and they decided to go for it and tie the knot! Their hand-written vowels were so personable and romantic, and even made me teary-eyed behind the camera. They were telling friends + family over the past week so it was REALLY hard to resist, but now I can finally post them! Enjoy!
