I’m sure you’ve heard of a “first look” before, and if you haven’t then it is when the groom see’s the bride shortly before the ceremony as a way to release some of that pre-wedding anxiety and also allows time for more photos to be taken before the reception (so everyone can go straight to the party!). When weddings are more on a time crunch I always suggest this, and I LOVE when my brides are excited about it. Delanie decided to take her first look a LITTLE bit further, and we did it before their wedding day during her bridal session! This is probably every photographers dream.. to be able to take not just beautiful couple pictures at their couples wedding venue location.. but to get to do it at ANOTHER location too! Gold. haha.
The Bernhardt winery was beautiful.. tree’s and rolling hills in the background, so much greenery (and I love my greenery..) and all around a nice day with the exception of a few random ‘take cover’ down pours. When Mark first saw Delanie I loved his expression.. they were so happy, and in love, and I’m so honored to get to call this my job to be able to not only witness but capture these memories for my couples forever. I had such a fun time getting to know these two. Their personalities are laid-back and fun, the best way to be! Delanie, you look STUNNING as can be in that dress, and I can’t wait to share more from your wedding day SOON! For now, this little first look sneak will have to do. 🙂
I loved this idea…!! Delanie had DIY signs throughout her wedding day.. so she wanted to put this in the guest bathroom to show the fun of their personalities!
