I. loveeeee. engagement. sessions! Seriously — they’re so fun and probably my most favorite thing to photograph. These two starcrossed-coffee-lovers met in college when they were both working for Starbucks.. they both love nature and doing things outside a lot, so when John’s surprise proposal at their casual picnic at Austin Town Lake happened, Erin was shocked, thrilled,.. and OF COURSE said yes. He had saved up for a whole year for the perfect ring, and when the sun set he popped the big question to his beautiful future wife!
I was so excited when she said they wanted to do their session in Galveston. They loved the beach (and are getting married at the beach in Mexico next April.. so it was perfect!).. and the idea of doing something fun/cute/carnival-like since one of their first dates was at the fair! When I was showing Erin some peeks during their session she would get so excited and jump a little with an “oh my gosh!” – their excitement and love was adorably refreshing 🙂
