When I first met Chloe I thought to myself “how do I keep lucking out with these amazingly gorgeous people?!” seriously. Stunning girl (and she doesn’t even realize it) with a soft and sweet soul! We photographed her bridals awhile back and they were hands down some of my favorites. If you want to check those out you can find them here!
So, there was absolutely no surprise when I met her hubby, Jake, on their wedding day that he was just as sweet and genuine as she was. These two were designed to be on this earth together without a doubt and their personalities are an adorable match. I am so excited these guys chose us to be a part of their day, it was one for the books! The day is winding down and so are my brain waves, so I won’t ramble on too much longer and let the images do the talking. Going over them while I was putting together this blog post just reminded me how lucky I am that I get to capture all of these emotions. Oh. My. Goodness. You guys – – do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.
From the dainty details, beautiful flow lace dress, amazingly coordinated colors between the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and it all blended in with the reception decor, this gold + blush pink wedding is easily any photographer’s dream wedding. <3. We were able to do a lot of our portraits before the ceremony when it was sunny outside.. but of course it’s Texas and half the day had to be beautiful and the other half had to be a monsoon.. we had to do their couple portraits inside for a few, and they gave me a few seconds to play with umbrellas in the rain, too! LOL. Thank you guys for your patience and understanding that the weather can be a stinker — but hey, there’s always the silver lining of it’s “good luck” ;).
Shoutout to the amazing Balmorhea Events for being one crazy cool venue. Enjoy my faves (it was obviously hard to narrow them down to just a few.. sorry not sorry.)
