I am thrilled to share Eileen and Minahil’s beautiful wedding at Beckendorff Farms this February. They were married at the All Saints Catholic Church in the Heights and we all zoomed over to Beckendorff afterward for golden hour sun portraits with the wedding party + couple, following a beautiful lit-up night reception.
We absolutely adore Beckendorff for so many reasons. The property has beautiful land with a pond and of course the barn backdrop for perfect photo opportunities throughout the venue. The venue is setup so that you can have a ceremony on site inside or out!
The reception was decked out in this year’s most loved color scheme of greens and golds. It was a full moon and a clear starry-night, so we had the opportunity to take some night-shots too, which is always one of my favorite things to do at weddings! I love that there’s plenty of string lights + lamps outside to still take creative night-shots. The full moon was out and it lit up the lake and trees in the distance, and the crisp air made for the perfect ideal weather for this classic barn wedding. There’s nothing quite like having total privacy on acres of land to surround yourself around closest friends + family for a night of love + partying!! The swing chair inside the barn was decked out with flowers which added the perfect highlight of the room. There’s also a balcony above for a variety of angles shot throughout the reception! We also love love love how the sunsets over the venue!
E+M had the BEST FIRST DANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN, and the groom ended it in the splits (it’s a must-see),.. with a unique exit with glow balloons! Guest waved them goodbye as everyone piled back on the bus to go to the hotel after-party. Thank you Lorie at A Splendid Event for a seamlessly beautiful evening, as usual, you’re the best!
