Well we did two kinda-crazy things that I will address in this blog. Haha
- We decided to redo our entire website in the midst of one of the craziest wedding seasons yet. But, we felt like our website was a little out-of-date with the new technology and mobile-viewing… and we wanted to better represent our brand and style. We seriously hope you love it as much as we do, and we are SO EXCITED to hear what you think. Thank you to our current clients in their patience with getting photos back to you in this hectic season and for all of the love I feel from you guys constantly!! You keep me alive!! <3
- This engagement session was shot with a couple in love, their awesome best friend, me and my husband, and my tiny mini cooper tracking all over Galveston. Squished and all, we had a blast and I love it when my couples want to explore and take the time for an awesome and unique session. In a bigger vehicle, I think we would all have a pretty incredible road trip haha!
I am crazy-all-kinds of behind on blog posting and almost giving up on the notion that I will ever blog EVERY thing I do, so I am skipping around and randomly posting some of my favorite blog posts more in the future to catch up. I thought this epic Galveston session with one of my favorite couples this year would be a great start to introduce the new site with!
I immediately felt an awesome connection with Dina as soon as she first emailed us! I am so excited her and Stephen chose us to be a part of their love story, and it makes it even MORE special that she happens to be an incredibly rad photographer and you should totally go check out her work here :). So! We met in Galveston a few months ago when it was a little cooler and less summer-crowded for an adventure around the town. If you know me, you know I’m a little crazy-obsessed with Galveston and any and all opportunities I get to photograph by water, I always go above + beyond in my inspiration. The whole town feels like art to me, and someday we would love to be able to call it home. We shall see! 🙂 Before I go off-track on my love-affair with G-ton,.. a little about our shoot that day! We met up at the grocery store and piled in my cooper and drove all over my fave shooting places 🙂 and headed over to Bolivar to a private beach area we found off the beaten path (and almost beaten’ my husband for getting us almost lost hahaha), and we played with some smoke bombs (I had never done this before so I was a first-time, thank you guys for your patience with that haha).. and the wind was insane and the sun was setting fast, so I think it was challenging to keep it from blowing all over the place in a hurry but we did our best — and they KILLED it. Ah, seriously, stop being so cute and perfect haha.
We get to be a part of Stephen + Dina’s two-day Indian and American wedding ceremonies this December, and we are so honored and thrilled to be a part of it. I am reminded why I love what I do so much with these two!! They are fun, silly, romantic, sexy, awesome to talk to, and absolute chill-good vibes all around. There was never a dull moment in the car and so many laughs haha! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
