Loved this wedding at Hotel ZaZa, it excited my little photographer heart with all of the shadows and interesting lighting throughout the day. I love that Ashleigh thought our photography style fit the mood for her wedding and she really “got” the artist in me. and trusted us with their important memories. Unfortunately, it was raining all day so we didn’t get a chance to get out on the streets and area, which is also incredibly stunning and one of my favorite little areas to go to in the museum district.. but we made do with what we had and had a blast photographing inside the hotel. Lucky for everyone, they had the top suite reserved and we had a huge wrap around balcony with a stunning view over Houston for some outdoor shots.. glorifying the thunderstorm and clouds in the distance over the city.
Ashleigh + Alex had the party of the century at the classiest hotel in Houston. I have always swooned over the decoration and hospitality of Hotel Zaza, and if you are ever in the area and get the chance to check out their restaurant, Monarch, you should. Not only is the restaurant amazing and a fun place my husband and I like to go for cocktails + a meal after a day trip to the Houston museums.., the hospitality and staff at the restaurant and hotel is fantastic. As just a vendor, during our small break we take while the bride + groom are eating, we were served our own meal with a glass of water and bread, the works! I couldn’t believe it. They understood the (what seems to be foreign these days) concept of treating people good = getting good in return,.. in return, a raving review from me and nothing but good word of mouth when overheard about. I will surely recommend to brides who are looking for a classic hotel wedding. We highly suggest getting married at this marvelous hotel,.. and if you dig our cinematic, romantic, moody style… bring us a long for the party! 🙂
