One of my favorite places to photograph has always been around the museum district area in Houston — there are so many gardens, unique museums, architecture, best-known spots for picnics, water fountains, beautiful greenery and more. While there are far fewer places indoors to photograph in the area than outdoors, there are plenty unique hotels to stay in that are instagramably in fashion. This sweet couple held their wedding at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, but between their ceremony at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church and ending their evening at the HMNS museum, this rainy day was perfect for formal photos at the InterContinental Houston Medical Center hotel nestled in the middle of everything. Thankfully the hotel staff at InterContinental Houston was very accommodating and let us sneak into this little cafe.. while there were still guests around the images and in the diner, I was able to Photoshop most of them out and create an artistic approach to this fantastic hotel.
