John and Megan got hitched in Downtown Houston a few months ago and I’m super excited to finally get to show it to you all. They had a quick intimate ceremony with their family and we did some couple photographs afterward around downtown/city hall. Of course John and Megan were so awesome they brought the rain down for so much good luck so we had to work around quite a crazy thunderstorm during their couple’s session. Luckily, they had cute Texas umbrellas and we just got SOAKED for the sake of love and art. They were super-troopers and were just down for getting all the shots that I wanted and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing dream couple who trusted me to get drenched for the sake of photos. We were lucky enough to be able to sneak inside the city hall to shield from the thunderstorm until it settled down a little bit to jump back into our cars to head over for a private dinner.
When we arrived at Vic & Anthony’s downtown for an intimate dinner in a private room upstairs, the room was dimly lit with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, a table of wine, menus, and seats for the family. It was so romantic, moody, historic, and the food looked amazing. We will absolutely have to come try this place sometime because it looked delicious!!
They had drinks throughout the night and so many fun stories and laughs during dinner. The courses kept coming and we snuck out in the middle to give them some privacy and see them the next day for their reception party with friends and family. This was such a unique wedding experience that I’m so excited to be a part of. This couple is THE BEST .. the sweetest.. they have been supporting me with my business in all kinds of Facebook and Instagram love and it makes my heart swoon when my clients love and trust me so much like them. They have so many exciting things headed their way and I’m so lucky to have photographed the start of their marriage adventure!! This is only part one… so you’ll have to wait for part II coming soon.. the next day’s PARTY!!!! 😀
By the way.. if you don’t already know, I have BLUE hair.. so ladies, if you ever forget your something blue, you have me as your photographer. Ha! Megan, on the other hand, didn’t forget and she has some super adorable blue shoes 😉
