My first blog post of 2014!! And I’m so excited that it’s this one! Allison and I have been communicating for the past few months as I was needing a couple to do a stylized shoot. I wanted a vintage-romantic feel and when Ally messaged me their photos and a shot of her dress, I knew they would be the perfect fit for what I was looking for. I have been wanting to get some shots for my new wedding magazine and my website for 2014 marketing. I thought the vintage-feel was exactly what I wanted and came up with some stuff to put together for the shoot. I used curtains to hang on the trees, my old antique nightstand (painted white), and some knicknacks (vintage camera, bird cage, flowers, vase) from around the house and my own wedding. I wanted it to be simple, clean, and a beautiful sunny day. I really lucked out and couldn’t have asked for more!
Allison + Ryan are getting married in May but he had seen a peek of her dress already so we decided to call it a pre-wedding-shoot! We were able to get some AMAZING bridal shots of Allison (the sun was loving all over her!), as well as some engagement shots to tie in the whole story 🙂 Enjoy a handful of my favorites from our shoot. I can’t wait to do another stylized shoot, they really are so much fun and good for my soul.
