One day Jordan jokingly proposed to Megan and brushed it off as if he was just kidding. Later that night when Megan was studying for her exams, he tries to get her attention… and gets down on one knee to proclaim his love to his girlfriend with the serious question of “will you marry me?”. Behind tears, Megan said yes to her prince charming!
This sweet couple said their “I do’s” last Saturday, September 27th at the Cat Spring Hall.. She told me at our consultation that she had another venue in mind, but started to dream about the hall and knew it was just right for them as it was by their hometown. I am absolutely head over wedding-HEALS for this sweet and charming love story I photographed last weekend. I knew when I met Megan a few months ago at our consultation that it was going to be gorgeous… but I was blown away at just how gorgeous her attention to detail was from beginning to end. Megan, you put a wedding photographers DREAM wedding together.. and it was an absolute honor to photograph it. It is obvious how much hard work and love you put into every single detail. I have enjoyed watching her countdown to their big day and then getting to be a part of it!! From the love letters, the silliness, pictures, DIY wedding crafts, the wonderful candy/cookie bar.. and that cake table! SO gorgeous!.. every detail was perfect and a reflection of their fun and playful personalities. I don’t know if I have ever seen a bride so confidently calm.. just simply ready to marry the man of her dreams.. knowing that’s all that truly mattered about their day.
You two are SO sweet to one another, and everyone around you. I loved the “come here” finger move Megan made to her husband at the reception, and Jordan’s hilarious garter toss routine haha! And the passionate kisses and moments throughout the night. And it was so sweet how loved you were by all of your guests. Tears of joys were shed from friends, family, and even the groom! I had people coming up to me throughout the night saying how much you two meant to them.. There is such a lovely chemistry and bond between the two of you that was undoubtedly noticed and captured throughout the night. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Langley!!
