Oh my goodness.. where do I begin! These two are so cute together. I met Britney when she was a bridesmaid for a friend’s wedding and she was so sweet! When she asked me to photograph her wedding and told me all the details I was so excited.. I LOVE country weddings! But this wasn’t just your average country wedding, though.. it was glamorous and classy and everything in between. From our consultation to our engagement session, to the wedding, and meet ups in between, I had a pleasure getting to know this couple and to witness the love they have for each other.
Tommy + Britney got married on October 11th at the beautiful Twisted Ranch in Bertram, TX. Everything was immaculate and had such an amazing attention to detail. Her colors were BREATHTAKING.. look at those flowers! The cake, the centerpieces, the food (yum!), and all of the little details from the cocktail hour to the reception. SUCH a wonderful place to get married! Photographer’s paradise! Your friends and family were all a pleasure to be around.. and it was so obvious how much they adored you guys.
Someone asked me recently why I love shooting weddings… I love the goosebumps I get when two people who are REALLY in love get married, and all of the small moments that they share on their day. The happy tears.. the relieved tears… the laughter. The funny dancing… When the cake is tossed, the flowers are on the floor, and the shoes are kicked back and flip flops are on… it’s all about the love and family and what really matters. I absolutely could not ask for a better job than to capture the beautiful moments in all of my couple’s lives. Oh, and it’s not everyday you get to photograph in a field of buffalo… TALK ABOUT CRAZY haha. Britney was brave even in her flowy wedding dress… I, not so much, but of course did it (because I love her! haha) and it was an amazing experience.
Special shotout to JR Digital Video… Had a blast working alongside Jason.. you made us laugh too much! haha. And the BEAUTIFUL flowers made by The Gala Gal, it was so good to meet you, Cheri! And to the Twisted Ranch… your venue is SO amazing… in every way… what you offer to brides is incredible and all of the variety and beauty throughout truly makes it a dream venue for any bride! Also, loved meeting you ladies with All Dolled Up Austin.. you two were so incredibly sweet (and entertaining! haha). And also thank you SO much Michelle with Timeless Events for making it a smooth and beautiful day!
