Where do I even begin.. Every. single. detail. of this wedding is pure perfection! A wonderful wedding coordinated by the fabulous A Splendid Event . Miranda and Paul got married last year at The Orchard at Caney Creek and it was a winter-dream! They had the entire property for themselves — a house to get ready in with a kitchen to enjoy snacks and just hang out (even, sleep!) and their ceremony under the trees.. and a reception on the deck overlooking the water!
One of the things I loved most about this venue was how all-in-one it was.. their family was able to spend the night and have their rehearsal dinner the night before there! It’s out in the country and tucked away for privacy. The natural light in the little vintage-house and beautiful windows is the perfect setup for getting ready details and natural light for the hair and makeup artists to use. Every photo came out beautiful with so much sunlight pouring in and bright indoor colors.
The ladies got ready in one house, while the groomsmen were getting ready in the house across from it (even more bedrooms for people to spend the night there!). So, bride can stay tucked away comfortably and even take photos outside without being noticed by the guys side! It’s so convenient! There was also an outdoor setup/dining area for guests to have dinner and cocktails — with a deck outside where most of the guests like to hang out and enjoy nature under the patio lights and stars. You can take a walk across the bridge to connect to the on-water gazebo for some beautiful night-couple shots. I loved the opportunity to steal Miranda + Paul away during the middle of the reception to get some fun shots down there while guests were just hanging out and enjoying the evening!
Miranda.. you are so so sweet, and so obviously loved by many friends and family! Paul, you are her PERFECT match, you are so kind and funny and your personalities meshed so well together it was an obvious match-made-in-perfection <3. I am so honored to have been a part of your day! Your family is SO sweet, and everyone treated me like I was family. Thank you for being so awesome!
