There’s not enough sweet adjectives in the dictionary to describe this amazing lady! It was a pleasure to have not only worked with Carolyn but to have met her, and she reminded me why I love what I do so much! Carolyn and her super sweet momma met me at Fill in the Blank Studios downtown a few months ago where we had this gorgeous fine-art bridal session!
I highly recommend shooting formal portraits like these in studio to eliminate the chance of raining on your session (which requires rescheduling hair and make-up, florist, and pushes bridal portrait delivery back) and to just get out of the heat and have the privacy of the entire studio to yourself.. to unload and kick back, and just hang out and have a fun time being carefree and beautiful <3. I love jamming to music, and having an entire uninterrupted two hours of fun! There’s quite a few studios around Houston, if you’re ever interested in having a session in one of them — don’t hesitate to ask about our studio portrait session rates (and just a tiny fee added on to complimentary package sessions!) I love this studio so much because it has furniture available already and you can choose the fabric color of the couch to match your client’s outfit! I love the variety of furniture, as well as the areas around the studio inside and out. One of the absolute best things about this place though is the different ways you can change the mood of the image just by playing with the sun and fan-made wind against the curtains. Bridal sessions in studio also give you a chance to hang your dress, get some bridal detail shots, etc. All while in the awesomeness of which is AIR CONDITIONING!
If you are having a shorter timeframe on your wedding day, you can use the complimentary portrait session in our most popular package to do a bridal sesh like Carolyn did! Not only did she get to test out her hair and makeup, florals, etc — she was able to save some time on her wedding day by having already done some of the detail shots! Bring the rings! Flowers! Dress, hanger, let’s make it a mini-wedding pre-jam sesh. Let’s just say.. I LOVE BRIDAL SESSIONS!!! And who doesn’t love to get pretty and get a chance to get into that gorgeous wedding gown just oneeee extra time? 🙂 Did you know you can also do this POST-WEDDING! Why not? 🙂
Carolyn said I do to her prince charming, Stephen, at the U of H chapel and celebrated later at a boutique hotel in downtown Houston. One of my favorite city-weddings of the year, and I can’t wait to show it with you! For now, a little sneak of her beauuuutiful bridal portrait session <3.
