Since I’m so far behind on blogging I decided to just blog randomly as my heart contents, so today is my first featured wedding and I’m super excited to show you! Thu + Thong were the perfect clients from the very start. I am so blessed to have gotten to know them over our styled engagement session in the forest, skyp-ing (Thu kind of had to tutor me on that one a bit but I got it haha!), and spending the entire day together starting with an at-home Vietnamese family ceremony. Thu and Thong did a first look at Thu’s house before heading to Our Lady of Lavang Church after their home-ceremony. The ceremony was in Vietnamese so I wasn’t able to understand the words, but I got to listen to some of the most beautiful music I ever have heard at a ceremony and I could feel what was being said and expressed just through that alone.
After the morning ceremonies we headed to Big Sky Barn in Montgomery, Texas to prepare for the party! Light forest greens and pastels paired with moody fine-art vibes.. with minimalism and emotions shining through their story, I loved every vibe and detail from this wedding. The reception was at the Big Sky Barn and there was constant food served all throughout the night, with a fun dessert table setup with all kinds of nostalgic candies. Guests could take a mason jar of popcorn home on the way out after writing wishes to the bride and groom. Every detail was perfection, and every moment at their special day was filled with love and joy and I’m thrilled to share just SOME of my favorites. 😉
