I always get super excited when I get an inquiry for a downtown city wedding… always pumped to photograph weddings at The Houston Club and it sort of feels like home to us now after being there a few times! One of the things I love most about THC is the intimate setting with romantic lighting and such a classic vibe. Cocktails over looking the city with an upscale bar and wine room, large presidential suites to get ready ready in, with a gorgeous view of the other part of downtown.. all while sipping a glass of champagne and soaking in the moments you’ll remember forever. The space has a peaceful vibe and an extra..the food that is cooked at the in house restaurant is AMAZING.
The reception room can double as a ceremony space, but Ben and Nancy were married at a nearby church and had their reception party at The Houston Club that evening. The reception room is surrounded wall to wall in glass overlooking the city and you can see the sunset from above while enjoying dinner and drinks with closest family and friends.
I loved spending the day with Ben + Nancy, starting at a nearby hotel getting ready, to the church, and ending the day at THC, this day was one of my favorites.. filled with so much love, class, the city, and beautiful details.

PSSST… we tried our first attempt and videography AND PHOTOGRAPHY at the SAME STINKIN TIME. It’s not perfect but it’s our first real-wedding video and while simple, we are proud. Come watch us grow in eventually adding videography to ALL our weddings. As of now, we are starting to offer on SELECT WEDDINGS only, with a certain amount of guests and events that we feel we could confidently deliver something you would love on both photo and video side. We DO however, offer video with our destination elopement packages. It’s actually our favorite thing to do, and don’t tell Photoshop, but Premier is kind of growing on me.
