Irena + John | The Houston Museum of Natural Science Wedding

It reminds me why I love what I do when I get to meet and be a part of couples like Irena + John’s love story. We met up on the day that they signed their marriage license at the courthouse downtown and I did some shots to preserve the memory of that day for them…we walked and shot in downtown and just enjoyed the stroll and all the cool places around every corner for photo opportunities. We ended our evening at a rooftop bar with the Houston skyline and a flirting sunset. They were so romantic together and their movements between each other were so fluid,.. mixed with a nice breeze, it was a photographers dream to document these love birds. I knew we were the perfect couple-photographer match and it was incredibly refreshing to know them. I feel like we were already good friends by the time their wedding day came around, so I was of course emotional all-damn-day. Thank you for allowing me to be your memory keeper and trusting me with all of my ideas every minute along the journey together!

To put the sprinkles on my dream-job-cake I got to be a part of an amazing ceremony + reception at the museum. I’ve been obsessed with museums my entire life, so getting the opportunity to photograph a wedding in one was pretty much the best day ever. Enjoy some of my faves from their wedding day.
