I love shooting elopements.. and this one was no different. I had such a good time finally getting to meet Lauren as she was a friend of a friend and we had been talking months before! It was an icy cold winter day (probably THE coldest day we have had yet).. but everyone was a trooper.. The icicles hanging from the fences of houses felt like we were in another state! After the ceremony, close family and friends gathered for cake and punch – every little detail was absolutely adorable. I have never seen such a simple cute cake display.. ever! It means so much to have the little details together to tie in a story.. Lauren’s mother made (and surprised) them with DIY goodies throughout the cabin. Here’s some of my favorites from the day at the Tin Star Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas!,.. I can almost feel how cold my hands were shooting this just from looking back at these photos! haha
